JOB CATEGORY: HEALTHCARE / NURSE / LPN / LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE: POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing or direct supervisor, and working with the Medical Director and Medical Providers, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the performance of job duties including improving patient flow, statistical information, lab, pharmacy, and medical records. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - Completion of and eligible for graduation from a board course of study for the preparation of registered nurse or practical nurses, or graduation from a program that is equivalent to an approved program of nursing in the United States. - Experience in clinical setting preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - License to practice as a nurse in the State of New Mexico. Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment. - Have or be able to obtain BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire date.
