Position Summary Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients and helps patients with daily living. Responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit. Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: One year of related experience. Licenses/Certificate: CPR certification.
