JOB DESCRIPTION: Purpose: This Specification defines the job description of Materials Manager at the Adient, Northwood facility. 2.0 Scope This Specification applies to the Adient, Northwood facility. 3.0 Responsibility Each Department Manager is responsible for creating all job descriptions for the various positions at this facility. The Plant Manager and HR Manager are responsible for verifying accuracy and approving all job descriptions. 4.0 Process 4.1 Basic Function: 4.1.1 Responsible for the management of material, transportation and inventory needs of the plant.
