RN 7/7 On-Call: Position Overview: The 7/7 salaried On-Call Registered Nurse is experienced in nursing and handles a variety of hospice nursing care depending on the current needs of patients and the organization. Duties may include hospice patient visits, admissions, responding to urgent night and weekend patient needs, and/or filling in for other nursing staff. The On-Call RN works from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday-Thursday, and 24 hours on weekends Friday-Sunday, following a rotating schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off. Essential Functions and Skills: Patient Care Available to receive and respond to calls from Triage during assigned shifts making visits to patients with changing conditions and completing weekend admissions.
