Title: BYU Athletics Football Assistant Athletic Trainer Hire Date: As Soon As Possible Posting End Date: Posted Until Filled Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Trainer for Football provides comprehensive medical care and injury management for BYU Football student-athletes, supporting their health, safety, and performance throughout training and competition. This role includes the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses; coordination of care and referrals to medical specialists; communication with coaches and families regarding athlete status and participation; and maintenance of accurate medical records. The position functions as an integral member of the football high-performance health and performance team, collaborating with physicians, physical therapists, strength and conditioning staff, sports science, nutrition, and mental health professionals, and reports to the Director of Football Athletic Training.
