Job DetailsJob Location: Camp Menzies - Camp Connell, CA 95223Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $16.90 - $16.90 HourlyThis position pays $16.90 hourly while in training, and a $115 daily rate of pay while working at camp. The Kitchen Specialist assists in food preparation, service, and sanitation to support safe and efficient kitchen operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with meal prep and service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Follow food handling procedures. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 18 years of age. ServSafe certification required, or willingness and ability to obtain prior to the start of camp (training can be provided) Food service experience preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards. Ability to model Girl Scout values and create a physically and emotionally safe, inclusive environment for all participants. Ability to reside on-site during camp sessions.
