Hampton, Virginia Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday - 8am-4:30pm Overview: Works under the supervision of the inpatient Clinical Manager to provide quality therapeutic services for patients and their families including individual, family, and group therapy, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation, in order to reduce or eliminate psychological, behavioral, or chemical dependency problems that necessitated admission. Actively performs as a member of an interdisciplinary team and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinical care appropriate to the age of the patient served. As part of the interdisciplinary team, leads multi-disciplinary rounds and treatment teams to ensure patient treatment goals are identified and reviewed as part of discharge planning. What you will do: - Accurately assesses biopsychosocial functioning of assigned patients and residents by using effective interviewing skills, behavioral observation, mental health assessment skills, and collateral sources of information.
