Summer Student/General Labourer

Job description

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the General Labourer is responsible for various Manufacturing duties such as painting, cleaning material handling of abrasive material. The hourly pay is $21.50 CAD. Responsibilities and Duties: Palletization Product packaging line support: Identify & report damage or inconsistencies Cleaning as required: Yard coordination (Flagman/gate coordinator): Ability to multitask & work with minimal supervision in a high-growth, fast-paced environment Self-motivated and result oriented who is organized, positive & energetic Collaborative team player, strong interpersonal skills Friendly / personable / team player Safety & detailed focus: Requirements: Have a strong work ethic. Must be able to stand, lift 50 lbs. carry, bend, reach. Willing to work in all conditions outside; hours of operation will vary based on job specifics. Must have reliable transportation to and from work
