Description The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking to fill an Instructor position within the Division of Medical Physics and Engineering. This appointment is expected to be at the rank of Instructor on the research track; however, appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in physics, computer science, biomedical engineering or closely related disciplines and have completed 2-3 years of postdoctoral training. Successful candidates will conduct medical imaging analysis, specifically related to the use of artificial intelligence and deep learning as it pertains to medical imaging. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as personal attributes of initiative, problem-solving and teamwork.
