Overview We are seeking a Cardiac Step-Down Charge RN , sometimes referred to as our Step-Down Unit RN or Step-Down Cardiac Nurse. A Cardiac Step-Down RN is a registered nurse who is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the quality of nursing staff and the delivery of patient care. The Charge RN assists the Director in the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/departmentspecializes in providing care for patients who are recovering from cardiac procedures, surgeries, or events like heart attacks. The Cardiac Step-Down RN offer an intermediate level of care between the ICU and the general medical-surgical floor.
