Job Description Summary GIE Sr. Molding Manager is responsible for Molding equipment design (molds and molding cells), molding equipment build (design reviews/approvals), FAT/SAT, equipment validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and external supplier management (equipment replacement plan, equipment maintenance, molds performance) across the MDS BU and is positioned to ensure that the company's component design, supply, cost, etc. are aligned to MDS business expectations. Act as the main point of contact for MDS BU for molding equipment questions and technical support. This leadership position provides expert engineering skill, judgement, and mentoring of other engineers. He/she is responsible for the plastics injection molding portfolio covering all MDS products. This role will oversee the planning, coordination and oversight in the development and implementation of replacement molds and related validation activities as well as external molding suppliers management.
