What’s the role?: We have an opportunity for a Senior Automation Engineer in the Platform Hosting Services team within Enterprise Technology Services. Drawing on your DevOps/SRE experience, you’ll help Westpac run infrastructure at scale. You’ll build self-service automation and connect services across infrastructure domains—helping application teams deliver new features and services at pace, with high reliability and efficiency. You will join a team of IT automation generalists who combine infrastructure experience with tools and languages such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Aria Automation (JavaScript). Together, you’ll tackle challenges across a large on-premises hosting platform, plus some cloud compute services.
