Physician Billing Specialist

The Big Picture We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with experience in physician billing to support our revenue cycle operations. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate, compliant claim submission and timely reimbursement while serving as a key resource for resolving billing issues. If you’re fluent in coding workflows, payer rules, and enjoy keeping accounts clean and moving, we’d like to connect. What You’ll Do: - Charge & Claim Management: Review and process provider charges, ensuring accurate coding alignment (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) before claim submission. - Claims Submission: Prepare and submit clean claims to commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid, ensuring compliance with payer-specific guidelines. - Accounts Receivable (AR): Monitor claim status, post payments and adjustments, and aggressively follow up on unpaid or denied claims. - Denials & Appeals: Investigate denials, identify root causes, and submit timely corrections or appeals to maximize reimbursement. - Patient Billing: Generate patient statements and respond to billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism. - Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain accurate billing records while adhering to healthc...
