Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Rental Manager in District Heights, Maryland. The Rental Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the rental store/stores to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable operation to support the rental store/stores and corporate objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate Team Members. Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years’ management experience in a service related industry; Minimum of two years' supervisory experience; Experience in the Rental Equipment Industry, preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred. Requirements for the Rental Manager position include: Physical requirements must be met for the Rental Manager job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
