Transportation Engineer in Training

Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, Transportation Engineer in Training, (EIT). The position will offer the opportunity to work on small and large high-profile transportation engineering projects. Your Key Responsibilities: - Perform Roadway and Highway geometric design - Model projects in MicroStation using the latest software (OpenRoads) - Prepare construction documents and cost estimates under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer. - Perform field work to collect data or observe projects under construction Education and Experience: This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice. - Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) minimum - EIT certification in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months is required - Experience with OpenRoads, Microstation and Civil 3D is preferred - Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various exhi...
