Job Description Summary The Lead SMR Mechanical Systems Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. This is a technical position that integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization and requires long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy of the business and manages complex issues within the Systems Engineering area. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for Mechanical Nuclear Island Support Systems (MNISS) engineering activities that support the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) design. Activities focus on the Containment System (T10), including containment function and associated fluid sub-systems. Develop and maintain the System Design Description, Process Flow Calculations/Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and other engineering deliverable documents associated with the system. Responsible for development of specifications/component data sheets for fluid system in-line components.
