Job Title: Manufacturing Technician B Briggs & Stratton - Power Group As a Manufacturing Technician B your goal is to use your technical expertise, to be the go-to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured. You will do this by: Maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment Perform various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guarding Troubleshoots and repairs equipment; performs preventative maintenance Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification Trains employees; assigns and directs work; provides feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems Performs other duties as assigned: The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
