At our Riverina Cancer Care Centre in Wagga Wagga, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Oncology Pharmacy Compounding Assistant/Technician to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality cancer care to the local community. Reporting to the Head of Pharmacy, the successful applicant will join a growing pharmacy team and be primarily responsible for the compounding of parenteral admixtures, including cytotoxic and aseptic medications. The role also involves providing assistance and support to the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as contributing to general pharmacy operations and related activities What you will be doing?: - Compound chemotherapy and aseptic products in a pharmaceutical isolator - Adhere to aseptic manufacturing standards, including isolator cleaning and maintenance - Prepare and dispense prescriptions in line with PBS requirements - Assist pharmacists with preparation, packing and labelling of oncology and aseptic products - Receive and unpack cytotoxic medications and deliver to the chemotherapy unit - Support stock and inventory management - Assist with general...
