Head of Tax

Job description

This role will report directly to the VP, Finance. The candidate will be responsible for tax defining and implementing our tax strategy, maximising opportunities and minimising risks and implementing. The role is based in London Bridge, with at least 3 days a week to be worked from the office. What you'll do: Own the development and implementation of group tax strategies Oversee corporate structure, identify and mitigate tax risks Manage the provision of accurate and timely tax advice to stakeholders Develop and implement robust tax policies and internal control frameworks Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements Advise management on the tax implications of direct tax legislation Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with relevant tax authorities Foster collaborative relationships with functional business heads, overseas offices, tax offices, and professional advisory firms to ensure a cohesive approach to tax management What we need from you: Qualified Tax Professional having trained ideally with a large recognised accounting firm Experience in a similar roles, with in-house experience an advantage 8+ years experience with direct responsibility for...
