Environmental Acoustics and Permitting Consultant

WSP is currently searching for an Environmental Acoustics and Permitting Consultant with our New York, NY or Valhalla, NY offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. This position provides technical assistance and guidance across acoustics (noise/vibration) and environmental permitting projects, with an expected workload of approximately 70% acoustics and 30% broader permitting / multidisciplinary environmental support. It involves producing accurate, concise technical deliverables and documentation regarding project conditions and findings, and ensuring work is delivered to a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of defined tasks and driving them forward day-to-day in collaboration with senior staff and multidisciplinary teams - working through routine ambiguities independently and escalating key issues/decisions appropriately to protect quality, scope, and schedule.
