Software Engineer

What will you be doing? As a Software Engineer, you will be involved from day one in the design, programming and implementation of control software for maritime installations. Working alongside a team of automation engineers, you will learn how Alewijnse develops software for PLC and HMI systems used on board ships. Your duties will include: Designing and developing control software for maritime applications Testing and commissioning systems, both in the workshop and on board Analysing and resolving technical issues: Collaborating in project teams with various disciplines, e.g. hardware, AVIT engineers, as well as technical project managers, planners, work planners, etc. Contributing ideas on optimising processes and systems Assisting with the resolution of faults reported to the service department.
