Classification Title: ASSISTANT-IN TEACHING Job Description: The Management Communication Center in the Warrington College of Business invites applications for full-time Assistant-In Teaching faculty with a focus on business writing. These Assistant-In Teaching faculty will staff breakout sections of the core undergraduate course, GEB2216, Professional Writing , under the direct supervision of the course’s lead instructors. The lead instructor creates the curriculum, teaches a weekly lecture, and manages the Assistant-In Teaching faculty. The Assistant-In Teaching position: - Is a 9-month, full-time, non-tenure accruing faculty position with a Fall 2026 start preferred - Is renewable annually based on satisfactory performance evaluations, funding, and fit with the Center - Offers potential opportunities for compensated teaching in the summer - Comes with full benefits The job duties for the Assistant-In Teaching position include: The candidates must have flexible schedules and be able to teach in the mornings, afternoon, and/or evenings.
