Technician - Reliability & Test Engineer II

Job description

First Solar reserves the right to offer you a role most applicable to your experience and skillset. Basic Job Functions: Support new test equipment development. Identify and/or implement test and measurement system improvements that increase test throughput and equipment performance. Troubleshoot day-to-day reliability test equipment issues. Support existing equipment performance and reliability including solar simulators, environmental chambers, lightsoak chambers and laboratory measurement equipment. Assist with worldwide equipment and test method replication and Standard Test Qualifications methods. Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical preferred) with minimum 2 years work experience in a manufacturing or lab environment. - Associate’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (Electrical preferred) with minimum 4 years working experience in a manufacturing or lab environment. - High School diploma with at least 6 years of experience in related field. - Calibration/testing/measurement experience is desired.
