Description Dates of Employment: September 01, 2023 – June 30, 2024 Compensation: September 01, 2023 – June 30, 2024: Paid hourly at a rate of $18.69 for 0-6 hours each week (hours will depend on event requests and student availability) Job Summary: UW Bothell offers student employment opportunities to help prepare students by providing practical work experience. A squad member for Holly the Husky is a student employment position within the University of Washington Bothell. Each squad member will be trained to serve in two main roles for the Holly the Husky mascot program – as a performer and a handler. Squad members will perform as Holly the Husky while in the suit, serve as a handler which assists the performer, and provide customer service to both student groups and university departments who request Holly the Husky at events.
