FlexStaff is seeking Mammography Technologists for our client, in their health care centers throughout the metropolitan area. Various positions open in Brooklyn. Shifts: Candidates need to be available for an evening shift (10a-6p or 11a-7p) once a week and availability for a Saturday rotation Salary levels are commensurate with experience - 8:00am-4:00pm - 8:30am-4:30pm RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Preparation & Protocol Execution: - Review patient clinical data and imaging orders, interpreting requisitions with accuracy. - Execute mammography and X-ray protocols in strict accordance with departmental guidelines. - Implement infection control measures and Universal Precautions to ensure a safe environment. - Adhere to all administrative policies, including those concerning patient rights, abuse, and HIPAA. - Verify patient identity using two-identifier system. - Assist patients with garment changes and positioning for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety. Image Acquisition & Documentation: - Perform mammography and general radiographic imaging procedures. - Maintain accurate and timely records of all examinations performed within the PACS/RIS. - Document pertinent patient histor...
