This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift, working 7am – 3pm. What you’ll do: Reporting to the Shift Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely. - Preparing machine / can size change overs, including preparation of change over parts and coordination and maintenance of returning parts. - Optimising and fine-tuning of double seam can closing machinery, to ensure optimal performance and quality standards. - Troubleshooting and repairing Zacmi made can closers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency. - Working to liaise between Production and Maintenance to improve production and decrease time required for can size change overs. - Assisting with training of other team members as required. - Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping.
