Overview Job Title: Mechanical Inspector: Job Description / Requirements: Contractor must have Defense/Military and Aerospace background. Must be able to travel to various locations outside of required areas include surrounding states from original assignment site with occasional exceptions. Must be flexible to accommodate shifting priorities and be able to work well with supplier representatives and have good communication skills. Candidate must have at least 5 years of quality assurance experience, which includes: - Estimated frequency 8-32+ hours per week depending on experience and workload. - Paid travel and overnight accommodations IAW government per diem when necessary. - Must have fax, cell phone or pager. - Computer not provided. - US Citizen - Strong mechanical background with GD&T (mechanical drawing reading), Machined parts & assemblies and cables. - Familiar with IS0-9001, AS9100 & AS9120. - Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, geometric tolerances, schematics and processes. - Ability to verify that a Supplier's ATP meets the requirements of the Northrop Grumman specifications. - Evaluate and perform First Article Inspections. - Experienced w...
