POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports Quality Assurance (QA) by ensuring the accurate receipt and release of materials and maintains complete and precise records to support manufacturing and quality operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Confirm temperature charts and data logs contain accurate information for existing inventory; update or correct as needed. - Maintain current Release Pass/Hold/Fail tags on all inventory intended for customers or related to Quality testing, ensuring records reflect the correct physical location of inventory in quarantine or on hold. - Perform inventory and cycle counts on quality control testing materials and prepare corresponding documentation. - Inspect and receive incoming raw materials to ensure quality standards and customer requirements, and document all findings. - Review batch records for quality control testing materials and prepare appropriate documentation. - Maintain all records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and retention procedures. - Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental needs.
