Position Summary : The Senior Project Engineer assists the Superintendent, Senior Project Manager, and Contracts Administration group. Essential Functions: Duties vary by project, typically include: Determine client’s requirements and translate requirements into an actionable plan; Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects; Review and submit materials and equipment as required by client’s engineer; Create RFIs based on plan and specification analysis along with field input; Ensure health, safety and legal requirements are being met throughout assigned projects; Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers, construction managers, and craft personnel to assure project requirements are met; Assure that all milestones and deadlines are being met on a project level; Conduct regular meetings to ensure that safety, quality, schedule, and budget are being met; Conduct safety audits regularly to ensure projects company safety objectives are being met.
