About us Focaldata is on a mission to close the "understanding gap" — the space between what organisations think they know about people and reality. We're building a new kind of tech-enabled research company: one that delivers deep, accurate insight at the speed of software, for a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. We work with organisations that matter — from brands like New Balance to campaign groups like Hope Not Hate and non-profits like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. And we're doing it with a team of researchers, engineers, data scientists, and product builders who genuinely love reimagining what's possible in research. If you've spent time in research but find yourself more energised by making things than writing about them, this role was designed with you in mind.
