Overview The Bancorp Bank is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Embedded Finance Technology team. This role offers hands-on experience building API-driven financial services that power banking and payments products for fintech partners. You will work on real-world systems in a regulated environment, contributing to backend services and API development. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - API Design & Development - Assists in the design development and testing of RESTful APIs for embedded banking and payments capabilities. - Contributes to API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger. - Writes clean, testable, and maintainable code. - Performance & Security - Helps optimize APIs for scalability, performance, and reliability. - Applies secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT). - Collaboration & Documentation - Participates in code reviews and team discussions. - Documents technical designs and API workflows.
