Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job description

EControls is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our growing R&D team. The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops, integrates, and maintains production test equipment, hardware, and software to ensure reliable validation of electro-mechanical and electrical products in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role supports new and existing products by collaborating with Production, Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure production readiness of test systems. The Manufacturing Test Engineer also drives continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigation, system optimization, and support of quality and safety initiatives. Responsibilities: Works closely with Product Engineering to understand component production testing requirements Designs automated manufacturing test equipment to support new product launches (Products consist of electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical fuel system components) Troubleshoots existing manufacturing equipment to support current product production lines Make design changes to existing manufacturing test equipment to improve quality, yield, and throu...
