Responsibilities This position is responsible for administering, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems and related software, with a specialized focus on the organization's Directory Services and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The Systems Administrator will establish and implement standards for computer operations, ensure compatibility between hardware and software, and provide high-level technical support. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of system administration, from initial design and requirements gathering to implementation, security hardening, and post-project support. Key Responsibilities: General System Administration: Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and execute data recoveries when necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, operating system, and networking problems. Recommend and perform hardware and software upgrades based on growth statistics and forecasts, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
