Lead Materials Handling Technician - Galveston Supply Chain Operations - ( 2601336 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and four years of related experience. Valid driver's license required. Must complete Motor Vehicle Safety Course within 6 month of hire. Job Summary: Supports all aspects of the UTMB Supply Chain Management Logistics Division. Performs the most complex clerical and manual tasks and assists with planning and managing the daily operations related the verification, storage, insurance and delivery of materials and supplies (medical / surgical & non-medical / surgical). Job Duties: Supervises and performs the clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage, safekeeping issuance and delivery of equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensures accuracy of the inventory within the Materials Management Warehouse, the Hospital Materials Management storeroom(s) and/or in unit supply rooms (PAR locations / Point of Use technology).
