M-F) Days, Nights, Weekends and on-calls may be required Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Cardiac Echo Lab UTower CORE JOB SUMMARY: The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist uses ultrasound equipment to view and take images of patients' hearts and circulatory system. The incumbent also schedules and performs exams, takes patient histories, and reports results to physicians for interpretation and diagnosis. Further, the Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist looks for abnormalities in blood flow sounds, heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, and the appearance of the heart. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.
