JOB SUMMARY: The centralized Information Technology Services (ITS) Department at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT is seeking a qualified Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. This position operates under a hybrid work model and requires onsite presence in Storrs three days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, performance tuning, and overall support of the University’s Oracle database environments. Under the direction of the team leader, and in collaboration with other team members, this position works closely with IT teams and stakeholders across the University to ensure reliable and effective database services that support the institution’s academic and administrative missions.
