Summary HEH Civil is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the safe, compliant and effective delivery of civil construction projects across Far North Queensland. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Superintendent is responsible for day‑to‑day site leadership, coordination of resources, contractor management, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contractual, safety, quality and program requirements. Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise daily civil construction activities, including bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, trenching and foundations, in accordance with approved plans and schedules. - Oversee on‑site construction operations from mobilisation through to completion, including commissioning and handover where applicable. - Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour and materials to support efficient project delivery and achievement of program milestones. - Implement and maintain site safety systems, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, approved SWMS/JSEAs, and HEH Civil and client safety requirements. - Ensure site personnel are appropriately inducted, trained and supported to perform work safely. - Monitor site progress and address operationa...
