The Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Division of Cardiology invites applications from outstanding cardiologists with fellowship training in cardiac critical care. This position is based at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), which is a University of British Columbia (UBC)-affiliated teaching hospital. The successful applicant will be expected to pursue an academically focused career based on either a strong track record and commitment to Education scholarship or a strong publication and research track record, signaling their ability to obtain peer reviewed grant funding. The cardiac intensive care unit at Vancouver General Hospital is a Level 1 quaternary referral center for the province and manages complex patients with advanced heart failure, complex arrhythmias and acute coronary syndromes.
