Description Department: Student Success Center: Job Status: Full-time: FLSA Status: E xempt: Reports To: Director of Student Success Amount of Travel Required: No travel required Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Positions Supervised: N/A: POSITION SUMMARY: The Student Success Coach will serve as the primary academic advisor for undecided students. This position will ensure that undecided students achieve timely progress to graduation through the completion of general education requirements and will help students explore and declare a major. Additionally, this position will facilitate student success, retention, and graduation, through the provision of strategic intervention and support to at-risk student populations. The Success Coach will assist at-risk students by providing academic skills, creating individualized success plans, and assisting with navigating available resources. The Student Success Coach will act independently with initiative, exercise discretion, and possess a student-focused, solutions-oriented, and professional demeanor that complements the Student Success Center and the mission of Benedictine College.
