SUMMARY: The Machinist is a skilled-level machinist responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, follow detailed specifications, and ensure high-quality production with minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up and operate CNC and manual milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools. - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions. - Select appropriate tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining. - Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and other measuring devices. - Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and meet quality standards. - Troubleshoot machining issues, including tool wear, material inconsistencies, and programming errors. - Maintain accurate production records, including job travelers, inspection reports, and equipment logs. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure safe, reliable operation. - Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production...
