As the Director, Engine Trading, you will play a critical role in developing and executing StandardAero’s CFM56 engine acquisition strategy. You will lead complex transactions, build global partnerships, and work cross-functionally to maximize asset value and support the company’s long-term commercial objectives. What You’ll Do: Strategic Engine & Material Acquisition: - Identify, evaluate, and negotiate the acquisition of CFM56-5B and -7B engines, life-limited parts (LLPs), and major modules from airlines, lessors, MROs, and teardown providers worldwide. - Develop and execute an annual engine acquisition strategy and budget aligned with sales forecasts, market demand, and corporate margin targets. - Monitor global fleet retirement trends, teardown pipelines, and market pricing to inform acquisition decisions and timing.
