Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Senior Finance Director, Mount Carmel Medical Group Position Purpose: T he Finance Director for the Medical Group directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization. Directs the planning, organizing and implementation of the Medical Group's financial planning activities, budgeting, accounting systems and controls. Position Requirements: - Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field - Licensure / Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred) - Experience: 10 or more years of experience in hospital financial operations with progressively increasing responsibilities. - Thorough understanding of external, regulatory, payor and other forces impacting health care financial operations and thorough understanding of healthcare and medical group finance applications. - · Extremely proficient with personal computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). - Ability to organize, plan and direct staff and manage the financial activities of a large financial services department...
