Job Description General Summary: Vertex is seeking to hire a Director, North America (NA) Kidney Forecasting, to join the North America Forecasting, Analytics and Market Research team in the Commercial organization. This individual will focus on genetic kidney diseases (GKD), including APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD) and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), and provide quantitative and qualitative forecasting and analytical support for key commercial processes and business decisions, and will frequently interact with senior Vertex leadership and closely partner with US business unit leadership. This individual will also be responsible for generating and refining the short/mid-range portion of the US GKD revenue forecasts as part of Vertex’s annual Long-Range Planning (LRP) process. The ideal candidate must have experience both as an individual contributor and as a manager of people/vendors, and be a thoughtful and collaborative leader who can competently communicate complicated concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders.
