Concrete Reinforcing Tech Supervisor

Job description

PURPOSE: To provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of Concrete Reinforcing Technicians (CRT’s), including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values. 2. Supervise CRT’s, review their work, assist with any reported difficulties, and identify ways to correct deficiencies. 3. Responsible for continually reassessing drafting techniques and recommending integrated, cost-effective solutions to improving efficiencies, and participating in the development of recommended actions. 4. Track employee’s progress on assigned work. 5. Assist in the performance review process and recommend appropriate salary adjustments as needed for assigned CRT personnel. 6. Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
