POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Managed Care Contracting is responsible for negotiating managed care contracts with the payers and maintaining payer relationships for the health system. They are responsible for monitoring and evaluating managed care contracts, performance, and reimbursement rates to identify areas for improvement. The Manager Managed Care Contracting will collaborate with finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards. They will stay abreast of changes in healthcare reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and industry’s best practices. The Manager prepares accurate and comprehensive reports that present data and conclusions in a meaningful and concise format. Financial and statistical reporting may include trending analysis and projections, competitive/comparative studies, regulatory analysis and financial impact reports.
