Description Franklin Street is currently seeking a Property Accountant to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate must possess 3+ years of experience with accounting principles and accounting software or applicable education. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field from a regionally accredited college is strongly preferred. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Yardi Voyager management software. Position Overview: The Property Accountant will support Franklin Street and our affiliated businesses with accounting services. Successful candidates will be those possessing a background in commercial (retail/office) management accounting, strong systems proficiency, and an enthusiasm for customer service. - Manages and works with property and in-house accounting teams to perform the day to day financial operations: - A/R process including tenant receipt recognition/cash flow projection/tracking - A/P process including invoice review/approval/check runs - Tenant billing/maintenance/lease abstraction review - Assists/Reviews annual budgeting process - Assists/Reviews annual CAM reconciliation process - Monthly jo...
