The Role The Lead Warehouse Technician is a peer leader and maintains the day to day warehouse operations for the facility and is managed by the Supply Chain Planner. Responsibilities: - Oversee the scheduling, tracking, and distribution of incoming raw materials and packaging - Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock - Act in a lead capacity to warehouse technicians, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment - Collaborate with manager to create warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse - Collaborate with site management, supervisors, and leads - Monitor workplace performance and train warehouse technicians to effectively perform their duties - Work closely with Supply Chain to meet objectives and address service-related issues - Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels by evaluating usage and communicating with Supply Chain team on a regular basis as well as manage physical inventory process - Inform manager on processing and/or employee problems which may require their attention or knowledge - Understand and maintain compliance with all state laws and/or regulations that affec...
