Company Description Canam Bridges designs, manufactures and installs steel bridges for major infrastructure contractors across North America. Canam Bridges is a member of Canam Group, which has over 5,100 employees and operates 22 plants in North America, as well as engineering offices in Canada, Romania, India and the Philippines. Job Description: MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE USA: Different levels and pay structure based on skill and education. FIRST AND SECOND SHIFT: Competitive Shift Differential: Fit and assemble structural framework, components and materials in various shapes, sizes and designs such as but not limited to: angle, I beam and other steel components in compliance with the corporate mission and values, and departmental financial objectives. Essential Functions: Layout, position, align and fit together the fabricated parts of structural components according to shop drawings or prints and layout specifications; Operate cutting and heating torches;: Check camber and sweep tolerances of girders and beams and be able to effectively make necessary corrections per pertinent codes and specifications; Tack weld in all positions using multiple welding processes; Grind p...
