Job description

The Technical Writer/Editor will complete changes to Technical Orders for Air Force Programs. Interface with TOMA, Technical Content Manager, Illustrators and QC. This position will provide technical writing and editing skills to materials concerning aircraft and commodity technical manuals and Time Compliance Technical orders (TCTOs) in compliance with TMCR and military specifications. This position is responsible for writing, reviewing, editing, and finalizing all needed materials. Writer: Editor: - Organize and write aircraft and commodity technical manuals and TCTOs in compliance with TMCR and military specifications. - Technical writing supports specific program CSTO changes and revisions from TCM-approved source data packages. - The Contractor shall perform technical writing in accordance with applicable TMSS style and format standards. - Technical editing supports IAF CSTO changes and revisions from TCM-approved source data packages. - Perform technical editing in accordance with applicable TMSS style and format standards. - Review and edit documents to ensure conformance with English language and technical writing standards. - Review and edit draft documents to ensure confo...
