Job description

Determines vehicle condition, performs inspections, and conducts diagnostic tests. Perform daily maintenance and preventive maintenance on all Ground Service and Fueling equipment. - Location: General Mitchell International Airport - MKE - Rate of Pay: $30.00 - Schedule: flexible includes working weekends - Required : Must possess mechanical tools and toolbox ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards. - Inspect, maintain, and modify ground equipment used in the support of Menzies Aviation operations. - Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid, and compressed air. - Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify ground equipment. - Familiarization with the theory of operation for governor-controlled vehicles, control linkages and clutches. Diagnose problems using test equipment, and applicable manuals. - Remove, test, repair or replace components and accessories such as carburetors, governors, air and oil cleaners, ignition points and auditory sensors. - Replace bearings, bushings, shafts, end plates, brushes, springs, coils, armatures, push rods, valves, manifolds, tubing, hose, and wiring as required. - Check and...
